Well, you’re also working together for the betterment of everyone in the community, but that’s not as exciting, is it?
Today we’re breaking down everything you need to know about the new Race-Off event including what rewards you can earn, the new cars on offer, some new game updates, a unique new outpost, and more!
And if you’re gearing up to get new Forza Horizon 5 modded accounts, check out U7BUY to find the best deals!
That said, let’s get straight into what the new Race-Off event has to offer!
Two New Community Rewards & Goals
In contrast to the theme of the new Race-Off event (Asphalt vs. Off-Road), the pinnacle of the event is two brand new community goals to grind through. The two goals are separated for both, so one goal is for Asphalt racers and one for Off-Road racers.
But the good news is the rewards are not limited to either side and completing the community rewards will award all players with new cars! Once the goals are completed, players will receive their reward in the Message Center so make sure to check that out if you’re just getting back into the game. If you need an reliable platform to top up your FH5 credits, check out U7BUY!
Before we get to what cars players can unlock, here’s how you can contribute to the community goals:
Asphalt Racers
To add points to the Asphalt Racing community goal, you need to complete specific events from a few different categories:
- Rally Adventure – Apex Predator Races
- Hot Wheels – Speed Racing
- Mexico – Drag Racing, Road Racing, Street Racing, or Midnight Battles
Completing the Asphalt Racing goal will award all players the 2024 Ford Mustang GT.
Off-Road Racers
To add points to the Off-Roading community goal, you have clear specific events –
- Hot Wheels – Hazard Racing
- Rally Adventure – Grit Reapers Races or Horizon Raptors Races
- Mexico – Cross Country Racing or Dirt Racing
Completing the Off-Roading goal will award all players the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R.
Unique Horizon Race-Off Adventure Outposts
In addition to the new community-driven goals, there’s also a brand-new Adventure Outpost for players to find in the Free Roam game mode. The Horizon Race-Off Outposts are a unique entry to the game because they will move around the map for you to find!
Each week in the series, the Race-Off Outpost will change locations for you to find around the map!
Getting to a Race-Off Outpost allows players to check progress on the community goals for the new Asphalt and Off-Road Challenges. Plus, it’s pretty cool that you can get out there and search for the Outpost, adorned in the Race-Off’s colors; Orange for Off-Road racers and Blue for Asphalt racers.
Nothing too substantial in terms of gameplay or rewards, but it’s a great quality-of-life addition to make the game feel more alive!
New Outfits & Swag to Earn
There are also a few more cosmetic items for your drivers to swag out in with the Race-Off event! Players will receive the Horizon Race-Off outfits via an in-game message when the event goes live so you can rep your favorite style of races!
Get down and dirty with the Off-Road Racers race suit or feel the elegance and gritty tarmac under your tires with the Asphalts Racers race suit! No matter which side you choose to rep, you can get both race suits! Yay, free stuff!
Besides the new race suits, there are two new collectibles you need to scour through the world to find!
Forza Horizon 5 is getting the Pinata treatment with new Pinata helmets for both sides; Asphalt and Off-Road!
The Off-Road Helmet Pinata collectible will be live on week 2 of the event, and players have to look through Playa Azul to get their hands on one!
The Asphalt Helmet Pinata will be live on week 3 of the event, and you’ll need to roam around Ópalo de Fuego to find it!
Acceleration Car Pack & New Cars
In addition to the two new whips reward for completing the Asphalt and Off-Road racing community goals, there are 4 more cars added with a new ‘Acceleration Car Pack’ and 4 more cars to earn by playing through the Festival Playlist!
